Contemporary art sale in Donetsk
On December 9, 2011, “ArtDonbass” art and exhibition comples will open a pre-auction show of works.
Among the works presented at the show are pieces made in different techniques and media: painting, photo, collage, street art, digital art. Among the key pieces are works by such Ukrainian and Russian artists as Anatoliy Kryvolap, Aleksandr Roitburd, Vasiliy Riabchenko, Arsen Savadov, Ilya Chichkan and Vasiliy Tsagalov.

The collection also features works by M. Mamsikov, I. Gisuev, S. Basyliev, A. Gankevitch, P. Makov, V. Trubin, O.Zhivotkov, A. Sidorenko, L. Voitsekhov, I. Tsiupko, Bondero, V. Budnikov, R. Zhuk, I. Isupov, K. Solovyov, A. Sukholit and others.

Works by young and promising Ukrainian artists are also part of the exhibition. Among them are names known not only in Ukraine but also abroad, such as Artem Volokitin, Ksenia Gnilitskaya, Oleg Suslenko, Zoya Orlova, Maksim Mirnov, Taras Kovatch, Nazar Bilyk, Andrei Babchinsky, as well as work by PinchukArtCentre Prize 2011 nominees Masha Shubina, Stepan Riabchenko and others.

Russian art, among other artists, is represented by Aleksandr Savko’s work Letters from the front, as well as by Larisa Zvezdochiotova’s Three Matrioshkas.

The estimate price of the collection is believed t be between $ 650,000 $ – $ 850,000. The sale is organized by the “Zolotoye Sechenie” auction house. The auction’s e-catalogue can be found of the auction house’s website.
