TOP-100 people in Ukrainian art community 2011
ART UKRAINE presents the 2011 TOP-100 most influencial people in contemporary Ukrainian art-scene.
For this project we invited many experts and professionals – people who throughout the entire year have kept their hand on the pulse of Ukrainian art life. Some of the results were quite unexpected; some of the members of the expert committee have even themselves made it into the rating. And this is not surprising taking into account the level of Ukraine’s cultural and art infrastructure’s development and the size of the local art-community.
Ratings are always questionable and their results are very often influenced by collective subjectivity, but nonetheless they are an important part of the art-process. So without further ado we present our TOP-100 of people, who in 2011 have taken an active part in development of Ukrainian art and whose work was widely appreciated and acknowledged.
