First Arambol Unonnale of Contemporary Art

Who remembers now how the first Olympic Games were conceived in Ancient Greece? Or the Venice Biennale? This winter there are several well known contemporary artists working here in Arambol and nearby. They’ve decided to organize a show of their work right here. Big banyans grow from tiny seeds.

Arambol is an extraordinary small town in north Goa where many people spend several months a year. On February 5th the first Unonale Of Contemporary Art will take place. ‘Uno’ means ‘one’ in Latin, so Unonnale translate to an annual art event.

All professional artists are invited to participate in this exhibition. There is no curator of this project, the artists are self organized to make this happen. All art works should be created in India.
