Friday, March 2nd, in the Museum of Sholem Aleichem the exhibition of Vira Vaysberg - "The Jewish Quarter" - will be opend.

Since 2002 lives and works Vira Vaysberg in Hamburg (Germany). She is a member of the Federal Union of German Artists. This exhibition is her first project in Kiev after a decade long non-perfirming in her home town.

Exhibition venue wasn't chosen by chance: Saksaganskogo-street (Bessarabka district) is the place, where she spent her childhood years. In addition, the artist follows the path of the great Jewish writer Sholom Aleichem: emigration and adoption to a new cultural environment.

The exhibition will feature paintings of the last five years.

Opening day will be held on March 2, at 17:00 at the folowing address: Bolshaya Vasilkovskaya 5.
